Satellite Communications Internet Services (CIS) held its 15 th anniversary of Internet services in Pakistan. Yes, it has been 15 years since this company started offering Internet services in Pakistan.
Anniversary was named as "15 years of excellence on the Internet" and recently held an event for employees at the Hotel Islamabad.
Guest of the event was Dr. Imtinan Elahi Qureshi, executive director of communications satellites.
Other guests were Dr. Junaid Zaidi, Rector, communications satellites of the Institute of Information Technology, and Mr. Parvez Ahmed Butt, satellite communications adviser to the IEC. Mr. Nayab Gul, Marketing Manager, was secretary of the stage. Anniversary was named as "15 years of excellence on the Internet" and recently held an event for employees at the Hotel Islamabad.

In the event of a large exhibition was provided by the Director General, Mr. Asim Husain Shahryar. The CEO highlighted the achievements of the CIS in 2010-11 including up-gradation of data center and training center, new offices in Karachi, Peshawar and Lahore, and the release of seven brand new products.
He said the CIS is offering wireless broadband packages for SMEs and corporate clients as well as new training courses for PMP ®, ITIL ®, Cisco and Microsoft ®.
Addressing the meeting, Mr. Parvez Butt spoke of how the CIS was approved by the then Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and Ms how CIS Internet brought to Pakistan in 1996.
