Pakistani Teachers Won the Jordans Education Forum

 Two teachers in Pakistan, a total of 200 education professionals from over 25 countries in the region have won the regional competition of Microsoft's "Middle East and Africa Regional Forum on Educational Innovation," recently held in Aqaba, Jordan.

Educational Innovation Forum Microsoft focuses on innovative approaches that will ultimately improve learning outcomes of education systems worldwide.

Teachers are initially selected from different countries on the basis of their teaching innovations to compete in regional events. After winning the regional competition, these teachers are qualified to global competition.

Serious Security Threats are exposed oon HTC Android Phones


There is cause for Android, rather all this mess is due to HTC, the thought of different registration information such as email addresses, SMS data, location, phone numbers , system logs and more smartphones.

Nokia is developing a Linux based OS for feature phones called "Meltemi".

 Reports have emerged that Nokia is developing a Linux-based operating system for mobile feature called "Meltemi".

Election Commission of Pakistan & PTA are Working on Vote Verification Through SMS

 
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), in collaboration with the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority is working to facilitate a mechanism for voters to be able to verify your registration in the voter list through SMS.

An official of the ECP has confirmed that the Electoral Commission is working on the idea, however, the main concern was to ensure the security and privacy of all citizens.

For the purpose, the PTA has been asked to discuss the pros and cons of the proposed service and after approval by the PTA confirmation system through SMS voting apply.

COMSATS Celebrating Its 15th Anneversary Their Internet Services


Satellite Communications Internet Services (CIS) held its 15 th anniversary of Internet services in Pakistan. Yes, it has been 15 years since this company started offering Internet services in Pakistan.

Anniversary was named as "15 years of excellence on the Internet" and recently held an event for employees at the Hotel Islamabad.

PTCL Extends Its 256 Kbps DSL Unlimited Offer Till December


You may be aware of this package of PTCL DSL with a speed of 256 Kbps, which was introduced earlier this year at a monthly cost of R simple. 299. However, it was limited to a GB download limit per month before Ramadan.

During Ramadan, a special offer, PTCL offers this package at the same price of Rs. 299 but with unlimited download until September 30.

Samsung Celebrates its 2nd Anniversary by Upgrading its App Store


Samsung today unveiled a new version of its application store, Samsung Apps. The new version will be available initially for Samsung smartphones running wave in the new operating system bada 2.0, and launched globally in Samsung devices Galaxy at the end of the year.

The new version of Samsung Apps offers an improved user interface and updated options and a referral service for the custom application. Samsung also marks the second birthday of Samsung's application, offering 30 popular applications for payment, for free, a wave of smartphone users.
