COMSATS Celebrating Its 15th Anneversary Their Internet Services


Satellite Communications Internet Services (CIS) held its 15 th anniversary of Internet services in Pakistan. Yes, it has been 15 years since this company started offering Internet services in Pakistan.

Anniversary was named as "15 years of excellence on the Internet" and recently held an event for employees at the Hotel Islamabad.

Guest of the event was Dr. Imtinan Elahi Qureshi, executive director of communications satellites.

PTCL Extends Its 256 Kbps DSL Unlimited Offer Till December


You may be aware of this package of PTCL DSL with a speed of 256 Kbps, which was introduced earlier this year at a monthly cost of R simple. 299. However, it was limited to a GB download limit per month before Ramadan.

During Ramadan, a special offer, PTCL offers this package at the same price of Rs. 299 but with unlimited download until September 30.

But it seems that PTCL has expanded the availability of this package of 256 Kbps DSL will remain unlimited until December 31, 2011. While the price would remain the same, ie Rs. For 299 months.

India Puts Limit of 100 SMS Per Subscriber Per Day


The Indian authorities have a cap per day limit for sending SMS, to discourage telemarketing and spam text messages,

According to new regulations passed by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, a mobile subscriber can not send more than 100 SMS messages a day. Movement is probably a relief for millions of mobile phone users received unwanted text messages every day.

Experts say this can not completely eliminate the commercial and other spam messages, however, largely deter vendors send unlimited text messages from their mobile devices.

Huawei is Commercially Launching its Smartphones in Pakistan by the End of This Year

Huawei is completed all setting to launch its smartphones in Pakistan by the end of this year 2011, long before the rise of 3G services in the country, Nadeem Aslam Malik, Director of Business Enterprises Huawei Pakistan, he said in an exclusive interview with Mr. Malik said ProPakistani Huawei brand smartphone will be affordable to customers ranging from Rs 12,000 to 25,000 Pakistani rupees, with maximum features and applications for mobile users either in GSM or 3G networks .

Huawei brands have been gaining reputation with successful local and regional markets that deal in low-cost games and high-end, he said. The low-cost terminals have received excellent business smartphone in partnership with its cellular partners, including Ufone and Zong.
