Group Telenor, announced today its results for first quarter 2011, according to which Telenor Pakistan showed a 9.7 per cent in the Norwegian currency, due to increased share in the tower and Easypaisa income.
Telenor in its financial report, said the Pakistani arm of the group generated a total of 1179 million NOK or 18.769 billion rupees, compared to NOK 1.074 billion and 17.098 billion rupees (according to the present day exchange rate ) during the same period last year.
Company said the EBITDA margin increased by 6 percentage points, as revenues increased and decreased costs related to leased lines.
